We are excited that our annual symposium on education in Afghanistan will be hosted this year in beautiful BC! Join us from October 3-5, 2019, and join the movement for the right to education for everyone. We are proud to welcome special guests such as gender-based violence survivor and activist Shakila Zareen, Dr. Latifa Majidi, CW4WAfghan's Country Director from Afghanistan, and activist and CW4WAfghan Senior Director Murwarid Ziayee, and many more incredible speakers! SPEAKER PROFILES

There will also be Afghan music, an Afghan marketplace, visiting BC artist/potter Cheryl Couture of Pottery for Peace, "Belly Dancing Anne" Cameron, workshops, a panel, and much more.

We warmly invite anyone who shares our passion to advance education for women and girls to be part of this special event and action forum, and to make our collective voices heard, that Afghan women will #nevergoback. Whether you've been involved for decades, or you're just getting started, this is the ultimate forum to take action and be part of making a difference. Registration rates include most meals.
