Victoria Chapter: First Annual Red Pashmina Walk
Join us for our first Annual Red Pashmina Walk
Join the Victoria Chapter of Canadian Women for Women in Afghanistan for a beautiful walk through downtown Victoria in support of educational opportunities for women and girls in Afghanistan!
On Saturday, May 2nd we will be bringing together community members for our First Annual Red Pashmina Walk in support of CW4WAfghan programs and projects.
Join us for an inspiring afternoon with opening ceremonies from our guest speakers (speakers list TBA), followed by a 3km walk past the legislature and through downtown Victoria, finishing off with light refreshments and a chance to mingle with fellow community members at James Bay United.
For those new to CW4WA, we are a Canadian nonprofit working to advance education, and educational opportunities, for Afghan women and their families, and to educate Canadians about human rights in Afghanistan. You can learn more about our organization at https://www.cw4wafghan.ca/about-us
