Chapter meetings at Sadleir House on Wednesday, April 4 and Wednesday, May 2 to plan our events.  All welcome to attend.

Stall at Peterborough Market on Saturday, April 14 and possibly April 21.  Information on CW4WAfghan and upcoming events in Peterborough as well as Afghan needlework for sale.

On Sunday, April 29 we are holding our second annual Red Pashmina Walk.  Registration at St John's Anglican Church Guild Hall from 1:30 p.m. to 2:15 p.m.  Walk starts at 2:30 p.m. Email Peterborough@CW4WAfghan.ca (or call Daphne at 705 656-3820) for a pledge sheet and further information.

Monday, May 28 at 7:30 p.m. at Market Hall we welcome Sally Armstrong, award winning author and journalist, to speak about the future for  women in Afghanistan.  This is a fundraiser for the education initiatives supported by CW4WAfghan.  Tickets are $15 and are available through Market Hall Box Office, Titles Book Store and Chapter members.
