The NEC-Library acts as a resource centre for all library users within the community, provides a community meeting place for teachers, all members and their parents, offers regular Dari and English language classes, and Internet and computer classes.

Donor funds also support a portion of the staff salary and resources at a small community library in the province of Ghazni.
