WHY:
We are excited to extend an invitation to you to attend an evening forum on "The Courage to Learn: Education for Afghan Women and Girls", a unique opportunity to hear and question speakers from Afghanistan and Canada who are currently involved in education in Afghanistan, its challenges and its successes. The moderator for the evening is Lauryn Oates, Vice-President of Canadian Women for Women in Afghanistan, and Project Director of Excel-erate, the teacher training project being jointly funded by CIDA and CW4WAfghan in the rural part of Kabul Province. Come and join us for refreshments, sale of Afghan goods and a chance to create opportunities for women & girls in Afghanistan.
