Understanding Human Rights in Afghanistan. Adapted for Grades 4 to 12, this Educators’ Human Rights Resource reflects provincial Social Studies curricula. Focusing on Afghan women and their families, the resource kit challenges Canadian students to recognize their roles and responsibilities for securing and protecting the rights of women and children worldwide. The resource includes an information guide, colour images, student worksheets, suggestions for a question and answer session, an interactive role-playing game and resource booklet.

FACT SHEETS

Our Women in Afghanistan Fact Sheet Series provide snapshots of several different issues Afghan women’s organizations have identified as priorities in their reform efforts. The fact sheets provide a brief overview of the topic to provide current information from a variety of sources.
