CW4WAfghan is seeking to partner with a specialist with relevant technical skills to our work strengthening education in Afghanistan. It is expected that the work will begin in September 2018. The consultant will be working mostly remotely, aside from training days that will be delivered on site in the CW4WAfghan Country Office in Kabul, Afghanistan. S/he will help the CW4WAfghan Afghanistan Reads! program team in reviewing and revising the training manual and related program forms, in accordance with international best practice in adult literacy education and integrating the use of proven methods for literacy acquisition. The consultant will also conduct a Training-of-the-Trainers for CW4WAfghan trainers and will then mentor the trainers while they deliver the training on their own in the field.
CW4WAfghan is seeking an experienced female leader from the not-for-profit sector with proven ethical and trustworthy leadership abilities as Country Director. In this role, she will be responsible for overseeing all human resources, finance, operations and program management needs of the Afghan Country Office. This full-time position requires visionary leadership, and the ability to inspire and motivate staff and effectively convey genuine belief in and passion for the mission of the organization.
