A fundraising potluck dinner and Afghan marketplace

Join us to hear about the work done by Canadian Women for Women in Afghanistan (CW4WAfghan) that supports education for women and girls in Afghanistan, and share good food and fellowship.

There is no cost but we ask that you bring food to share and a donation to support CW4WAfghan.

 

Building A Culture of Peace Through Education

The Atlantic Chapter of Canadian Women for Women in Afghanistan will be holding an Open House featuring speaker Susan Hartley, Rotary Peace Scholar and Director with CW4WAfghan. Afghan products will be sold and refreshments will be served. This will be of interest to everyone interested in peace, social justice, education, global issues, Rotary Peace programs, and global citizenship.

Open House - International Development Week

February 1-7:  International Development Week.

The public is invited to an Open House at Timothy’s on Friday, February 6th, 6:00-8:00 pm.  There will be music with Tony Reddin and Mikayla Choy , food, and a Fair Trade Marketplace. Member organizations, including the Atlantic Chapter of CW4WAfghan, will make brief presentations addressing the question, “Do International NGOs Make a Difference?”

Charlottetown, PEI   The Atlantic Chapter of Canadian Women for Women in Afghanistan (CW4WAfghan) is excited to announce that Mellissa Fung will be the keynote speaker at their inaugural  PEI Evening in Support of Afghan Women and Girls to be held at St. Paul’s Church, Charlottetown, PEI on September 12, 2014.
