Join CW4WAfghan’s Peterborough Chapter and Red Pashmina Inc. as they host their 13th annual Red Pashmina Walk. The Red Pashmina walk raises funds for CW4WAfghan’s educational programs through donations and pledges, and Red Pashmina Inc. also contributes proceeds from the sale of pashminas. The powerful awareness walk celebrates and encourages diversity of women in the local community while emphasizing commonalities, connections, and shared potential with women in Afghanistan and throughout the world.
Welcome messages will be provided by Maryam Monsef, former MP of Peterborough and founder of Red Pashmina Campaign, and a talk will be provided by Selay Ghaffar, Afghan activist.
Come out and enjoy an afternoon of community while supporting Afghan women and girls!
