Please Help Us Provide Internet Access for Women Student Teachers

Afghan teachers are very often isolated from the resources they need to help them be better teachers.

Will you help us change that?

We plan to harness the power of technology, and increase access to information and educational materials online by Afghan educators, as well as to our own local language collection of educational material, the Darakht-e Danesh ('knowledge tree') digital library (www.darakhtdanesh.org). We are specifically targeting female student teachers at public Teacher Training Colleges (TTCs) in Afghanistan, the faculty of TTCs, and in-service teachers who use the services of TTCs, by facilitating access to the Internet in the computer labs at TTCs.

We are tremendously grateful to The Canadian International Learning Foundation, which has granted CW4WAfghan $12,000 to bring two teacher colleges online. We need your help to double this, and make it four colleges: we need to raise another $12,000 to match the contribution from this generous donor.

Please consider contributing to the campaign, and sharing our crowdfunding page link with your friends, family and social media contacts.
